BER Performance Analysis of a New Hybrid Relay Selection Protocol

Recently, cooperative communication have attracted significant attention to tackle the limitations imposed by multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) technology. To eliminate these limitations and increase spectral efficiency, best relay selection technique was proposed. In this paper, the performance of a new hybrid relay selection protocol is investigated. In particular, closedform expressions for bit error probability (BEP) are developed. The results of the BEP were presented to demonstrate the proposed system.
